Originally a Romanesque house, later on rebuilt number of times (particularly in the Renaissance period), the current appearance is peak Baroque from 1700-20 with a late Baroque adaptation from the end of the 18th century. Part of the cellars has a Romanesque and Gothic character. The arcades are vaulted with a Renaissance cross vault, some rooms have Gothic and Renaissance vaults too. The tradition of the wine-cellar called At Binders‘ located there dates back to the 16th century.
